Wow! The RAMS have moved up to seventh in the NJ.com Top 20 Rankings. All season long they were ranked #10. NJ.com gives the reason:

“Randolph ended the regular season with a bang, taking home a victory over a Gordon Conference team in a 4-2 success over Seton Hall Prep.”

That one win pushed the RAMS up three positions from 10th to 7th and pushed Mennen rival Morristown-Beard up one position from 7th to 6th.  Seton Hall Prep paid the price dropping from 6th to 8th.

NJ.com closes their comments with this:

“The RAMS will meet with an upset minded Madison team in the semifinals of the Mennen Cup Thursday.”

If you look at the Top 20 closely, you will notice that Morris Knolls is not there.  That loss to Madison hurt bad!

Moral of the story:  STAY FOCUSED!

  • On Thursday, the RAMS skate against Madison, a team they defeated 6-0 on 12/30/2019 and 4-1 on 2/1/2020.
  • Last Thursday, Morris Knolls skated against Madison, a team they beat 7-1 on 1/3/2020 and 9-0 on 1/10/2020 and lost to 1-0 and are out of the Mennen Cup competition and the Top 20.  Losing hurts…real bad!

STAY FOCUSED! Go RAMS!
