Beaten by a Bill Murray Movie

Okay, so maybe the Rams JV weren’t completely beaten by the men in Stripes yesterday, but they sure didn’t help us. The Rams were leading 2-1 in the second period of their semifinals game vs Summit before the refs called 4 straight penalties against them. Some of those calls were very marginal. Then when we had a partial break away and our player is taken down from behind, uh, where did the whistle go ref? So, not only did the period end 2-2, but our boys were exhausted. Summit took advantage of this in the 3rd and the game ended 7-4.

Oh well, there is always next year.
