Note: Notice that the records do not dictate the rankings, it is all about your program and the strength of schedule.
– #7 Morristown Beard moved up one place for the first time this season with their wins over Chatham and Morristown clinching the top seed in the Mennen Cup, in spite of losing to #2 Don Bosco 3-7. They play #17 Ridge (13-3-5) on 2/6/2020
– The #10 RAMS continue to be the highest ranking public high school in New Jersey ice hockey. Their next games are home tomorrow 2/5/2020 at Mennen against #16 Rumson – Fair Haven and away at #6 Seton Hall on Monday 2/10/2020. These games will test our ranking, for sure!
– #11 Ramsey (14-2-2) moved up one place from last week. The RAMS beat Ramsey 5-1 on 12/22/2019.
– #12 St. John Vianney (9-6-1) moved down one place. The RAMS beat them 6-2 on 12/11/2019
– #13 Summit (13-3-2) kept their ranking with a big win over #20 Montclair 7-3. As noted yesterday, our scoreless tie with Summit was the most exciting game of the year
– #16 Rumson – Fair Haven (10-1-2) moved up two places from last week losing only one game all season. Note: They played seven fewer games than the RAMS.
– #19 Morris Knolls (11-5-3) kept their placement with three shutouts last week, scoring 14 goals. Goaltender Elliot Marken has continued to be strong in goal. He hasn’t given up a goal since the RAMS Nick Gallo scored in the second period of the 1-1 tie on 1/24/2020. The two ties with Knolls this season reinforces that they are a threat in the playoffs.
